Kabbalist Rav Yehuda Ashlag is respected across the globe for dedicating his life to popularizing Kabbalah. He established the first Center in 1922. He also teamed up with Philip Berg to open up the first Center in the U.S. in 1965. Several years after Rav Yehuda’s death, Philip Berg worked in partnership with his wife, Karen Berg, to re-establish the New York’s Kabbalah Center. Since then, the nonprofit organization has built a strong international presence and established physical locations in over 40 strategic cities.
