The Impressive And Effective Legal Career Of Sujit Choudhry

Sujit Choudhry is a law professor at the University of California. He has spoken in more than two dozen countries on politics and comparative constitutional law. He has written for Canada on constitutional law and published reports, working papers, book chapters and more than ninety articles.

Professor Choudhry is on the committee for the International Society of Public Law, the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Journal and the Editorial Advisory Board Cambridge Studies of Law. Professor Sujit Choudhry is one of the leaders of three research projects and their findings is scheduled to be published in 2017. He has also been a consultant at the United Nations Development Program and for the World Bank.

He has written new constitutions as well as amended existing constitutions and acted in the role of constitutional advisor for democracies all over the world. He believes the questions concerning constitutional translations are asked due to non-existent, outdated or incomplete knowledge. He has said research is not up to date and inadequate.

Sujit Choudhry works at the University of California, Berkeley in the position of the I. Michael Heyman Professor of Law. Based on,  he has been recognized internationally as an experienced authority regarding politics and constitutional law.
